 Children's Art Exhibit

Congratulations to student members of Susan Priest's Children's Art Class for a very successful art exhibit in March at the Delhi Village Hall.  They are: Elizabeth and Peter Niebanck, Aileen Nealis, Quinn Kelley and Monty Damone.

The dates are set!  Don't miss these opportunities to learn new techniques and to hone your artistic skills!  Jeanette Koji has agreed to give a workshop: Crinkled Rice Paper, on May 10, 2011 from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. in the community room of the Delhi Senior Living Community, 7 Main Street, Delhi, New York.  Koji will demonstrate how to use crinkled rice paper with various mediums.  This is a gorgeous technique and we are privileged that Jeanette will show us how to do it.  The cost will be $10 for members and $15 for non-members.  Please RSVP to Jeanette if you would like to take this class.  Her number is 607-746-3399.  Supplies to bring are: Masai rice paper (available locally at Artware, Oneonta, New York), watercolor paper (140 lbs and up), watercolor and acrylic paints and brushes.

We plan to have a Drawing Workshop with a live model on August 27, 2011, 10 A.M.-1 P.M., in the basement of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 565 Andes Road, Delhi, New York.  $10 fee for members and $15 for non-members. RSVP to Susan Priest at (607) 746-3220.

A Pastel Workshop is being considered, based upon member interest.  If you would like this workshop, please contact Susan Priest.
